I want to get breast implants. I have three cervical bulging discs C3 C4 C6 and yes I have pain. I am wondering if breast augmentation is possible for me and what are my choices if it is.

Answer: Neck pain and Breast Implants In general, there is not a contraindication for a patient with neck pain to have breast augmentation surgery. That being said, every case is individual and considerations should be made if you receive chronic pan management. Your post-operative pain may need to be co-managed with your pain management specialists in case your current medications are stronger than what is typically prescribed by your plastic surgeon. Larger breast implants may cause increased neck and back discomfort, so selecting a more modest size may be in your best interest. An open conversation in which you voice these concerns with your plastic surgeon will allow for a complete and detailed plan for you to move forward successfully.
