I’m 53 and have lost a lot of fat in my face. I want to do anything that will make me look more youthful. I prefer solutions that last longer than a year or two. I’m 5’5” and 125lbs. Thank you.
Answer: Facial Rejuvenation Hello, hope you are well! Thank you for posting your photos in information. There are many options available to you. The foundation of a facial rejuvenation plan would be a face and neck lift. In addition, it would be worthwhile to consider brow lift, lip lift, fat grafting and/or cheek augmentation and upper blepharoplasty. Deciding whether to include these options in the surgical plan depends on your goals and expectations. To really understand the nuances of each procedure takes an in-person consultation (expectations of results, potential risks, scars, recovery, etc). Cheers, Dr. Tower

Answer: Facelift I would recommend facelift with fat grafting to the upper cheeks. This would be a long lasting procedure that would still look natural.

Answer: Deep plane facelift and neck lift Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs. There is moderate laxity along the jawline and visibility of the labiomandibular lines, which affects the shape of the face in general and contributes to a more aged appearance. The contour under the chin shows relatively strong visibility of the submandibular glands and digastric muscles, along with a moderate amount of skin laxity. Overall, it seems that the best approach to address all these aspects for a more defined contour of the jawline, a more visible V-shaped contour of the lower face, and increased neck definition would be a combination of a deep plane facelift and a deep plane neck lift.

Answer: Face rejuvenation Hello mlwatson1971. To rejuvenate your face, the best procedure would be a mid face and neck lift, upper blepharoplasty and fat transfer to the face. With these procedures we resposition the muscle layer of mid face and neck and readjust the excess skin. And we need to replenish the volume loss of the face with a fat transfer to the cheek bone, the nasolabial crease, the crease on the corner of the mouth and in the inferior eyelids. The combination of these procedures will have a great improvement and rejuvenation on your face and is the most long lasting treatment. Let me know if you woluld like more information. Thanks Dr. Medina

Answer: Facial surgery for long term results... Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for lower face and neck lift along with fat transfer at the same time. If it is performed well by an experienced facial specialist, you can have a 10 year result that looks very natural at the same time.
