Is this normal 5 months after open rhinoplasty? (Photo)

Question

Hi I had open rhinoplasty almost 5 months ago and I feel the tip is really huge and uneven looking. It's really stressing me out. I had my bump.temoved and the tip narrowed in. It's looks awful and feel I can't go anywhere.

You can see the result a bit later. Be patient. Swelling after rhinoplasty may remain within 12 months. Be sure to keep in touch with your surgeon and follow his recommendations.

I am afraid it takes 12 - 18 months for the tip to settle, the open approach usually has a little more swelling than the closed approach.  You may find it helpful to visit your surgeon again and compare your pre op pictures with pictures taken again now, making sure the lighting conditions are the same.  It can be difficult to remember just what your tip was like before surgery.  You can expect things to still get smaller.
