Will braces affect my nose job?

It is impossible to give you recommendation based on your question.  How old are your?  If you aren't 18, you can't have surgery without parental consent.  If you are over 18 and plan to okay for a rhinoplasty yourself, you have the right to privacy, including from your parents.

Thanks for asking. Standard braces and elastics (rubber bands) shouldn't affect rhinoplasty decision making. Candidacy for rhinoplasty is multifactorial. Seeing a board certified rhinoplasty surgeon will help determine your needs. Best wishes.

Having braces in place does not affect the planning nor the operative maneuvers in rhinoplasty surgery.

Recovery after rhinoplasty follows a typical pattern of
swelling that is most noticeable during the first two weeks.The second week any bruising is well hidden
with make-up.The swelling at two weeks
will continue to resolve and most people look great at six weeks.Swelling will still persist even though it
may be subtle.Final results are assessed
one year following surgery. While braces don't interfere with the surgery - your family will most likely know you had nasal surgery.

Getting braces should have no effect on your Rhinoplasty. It may be hard to hide it from your family, but you should not have any issue having it done while you have braces.

The rhinoplasty procedure can be performed with your braces currently on your teeth, but you will have to removed elastics for the anesthesia. While it is possible to undergo a rhinoplasty and not telling your family, someone will need to be your caretaker for the first 24 hours after the anesthetic and surgical procedure. Having braces should not preclude having a rhinoplasty. It may be difficult hiding it from your family as you are going to have at least a week where you will have a cast on your nose as well as some swelling and potential brusing. These would be things to keep in mind if considering surgery that you are going to attempt to conceal from others around you.
