Restylane in bottom lip. Could this be swelling? (Photo)

0.3mL's of Restylane is a very small amount.  There is expected swelling with any filler injection which usually resolves over 1-2wks.  Your bottom lip will settle.  Most of the swelling will be gone with 3-5 days.  Best of luck!   

Thank you for your question.  Your lip is swelling from injection and should subside over 1-2 weeks.  0.3cc of Restylane usually does not make your lip appear too big so it is best for you to wait until the swelling goes down in next two weeks.  Also try to stay away from excessive weight lifting, strenuous exercise, and extreme temperature to minimize swelling.  

Thank you for your question and for submitting your photo. It's not uncommon to experience swelling for up to 2 weeks after any filler injections.  While it's possible that you may have been overfilled, It's difficult to assess what your final results will be until your swelling have fully subsided.  
For now, I would suggest gently applying ice or cool compresses to your lips.  If you are still concerned about the appearance of your lips after 2 weeks or so, it would be worthwhile to follow-up with your injector to discuss your concerns.  If necessary, Restylane can easily be dissolved with hyaluronidase.  Best of luck!

dont panic. your lip will go dow. It may however get bigger before it get smaller. In my experience the maximum swelling occurs at about 24-48 hours o good luck, hopefully it will all get much better. Hope that helps, Adam Goodwin

Thank you for your question and picture. Expect the lips to be swollen for a few days. This was done today? Do not worry, please, 0,3 cc is really just a little bit. You will look fine the day after tomorrow since you don't seem to have any bruising.
