Can I lose my facial hair by Infini RF microneedling treatment? Scared it will damage my beard hair follicles, advice?

Hey, I will try the Infini next week for rosacea as well as skin tightning and I would very happy if you can answer my qestion before. I’m male and I like to wear facial hair. My question is: Is there a possibility to distroy the facial hair root or someehing else, that it i‘m not able to wear a beard in the future? Thank you very much.

No, if performed correctly, microneedling should not damage your hair follicles. Infini is a popular treatment, but I prefer Intensif because the needles are non-insulated and gives more robust results. I combine microneedling with prp and lasers to get the best outcomes. Infini will not affect your hair follicles. The roots of the hair follicle are deep and will not be affected by the infinite device assuming it is done correctly. Rosacea could be stimulated following this procedure.

In my opinion, infini should be performed by an experienced physician. Although, theoretically, it could be possible to lose beard follicles, I have not seen this side effect. Find an infini expert. Ask to see photos.

In the correct setting, this will not kill off your hair follicles, note however Infini may give you rebound redness. This is especially for patients prone to flushing, redness and rosacea. Infini hasn't caused any hair loss in over 1000 cases. It theoretically can injure the hair follicle but it just hasn't panned out. I wouldn't do Infini for rosacea. Vascular lasers such as VBeam and Excel V are much better for this. Infini's results are best seen along the jawline and neck area. For loose crepey skin an ablative laser is better and can be used in combination if desired.

No chance of destruction of facial hair, every chance this could flare up rosacea. For skin tightening, in your situation, Infini could work, however other devices like Ultherapy, Thermage etc. are better solutions. If your rosacea flares up, V BEAM vascular laser.
