Eyelids won't close after Blepharoplasty! 2 Months post-op. (photos)

Question

I had an upper Blepharoplasty 2 Months ago. I can make my eyelids gently shut but when i relax or when i sleep 2-4 mm of sclera and half of my eyeball shows . My Eyes look a little bit different and my Plastic Surgeon wanted to correct that he just wanted remove some fat but also removed skin. My eyes look so hollow now. I already massage and stretch the skin and put ointment at night for protection. Would a skin graft with a fat transfer help me if this doesn't go away ? King regards

See an oculoplastic specialist. There are nonsurgical and surgical treatment options available. It may improve on its own as it is healing.

So in an attempt to knock it out of the park, your surgeon may have slightly overdone your skin resection. This can settle on its own as the skin stretches so if you can tape your eye shut at night this will help. Otherwise, a skin graft is the immediate answer but this is surgery again and will eave scars that will be more easily seen going forward. Hope that helps, Adam Goodwin

I couldn't agree with you more. This is a suboptimal result and the cure lies in tissue replacement. In the first instance your surgeon could try a hyaluronic acid filler to plump the upper eyelid, this will give you back the lost volume and add weight and may just do the trick to close the eye at rest.  If this is not helpful then as you suggest skin grafting and fat transfer would be the way to go. Hope this is helpful.
