I've always wanted to get my eyes in a almond shape! But now I think monolids are the prettiest thing ever... If there is a surgery to create a double-eyelid, maybe there's the opposite of it?

Answer: Changing a visible crease to a monolid, maybe not. Hello! Despite my work and expertise, i'm with you, I love the look of Monolids especially when it fits the features of someones face. Despite what non-Asian (White people may think) Asians don't always "prefer" a visible crease or noticeable crease. In any case if you gave use a photo that would help. There are some situations in which you can raise a lid crease through a ptosis-style surgery or by adding volume to the upper lid but the options are limited. It's also VERY IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND that procedures that describe simply moving the crease down or relocating a crease in a lower position with a simple change in incision placement is grossly inaccurate. Be careful. Could you post a photo? Chase Lay, MD Asian eyelid surgery specialist
