Thank you for your question.  At about 6 months the results of your BBL are stable.  Excessive dieting or weight loss can casue you to lose some of your volume.  Timing of diet and exercise is less an issue than the magnitude of weight loss that you plan to achieve.  Excessive weight loss can affect your face, breast and buttock volume negatively whether you had a BBL or not. Discuss this matter with your surgeon further. Best wishes.

I would be very careful with weight loss after bbl. You may lose a significant volume of buttock fat if you lose too much fat.

Thank you for your question, it is very important to follow your doctors recommendations after surgery.I advice my patients to eat well after the procedure, avoid red meats and fats, plenty of vegetables and iron supplements. I would advise you to contact your doctors office they will let you know when your able to start exercising and dieting, however its important for you to know that if you loose a lot of weight you will loose some so the fat that was injected. When your able to return to the gym get a personal trainer that can help you focus on your abdomen or the troubled areas to avoid loosing the fat in the buttocks.Good luck.Salvador Pantoja M.D.
