Answer: BBL and surgeon Getting a BBL done can be a life changing experience. However, I would caution you to travel so far away to have it done. If thins go well it is fine, but if you need follow-up for complications, it could be difficult to get follow-up. Best of luck.

Answer: Preparations for your BBL Congratulation on your decision, let me help you have the most pleasant experience, on this Plastic Surgery Journey.First thing you need to do, is to choose a location. where do you want to have your surgery. Both NYC and DR has really good and safe Surgeons/facilities where you can achieve amazing results. If you decide to travel to DR, Select the city that will fill your expectations, there are a lot of Places besides Santo Domingo where you can have top of the line Plastic Surgery. Second, Selection of your Plastic Surgeon. There are really good PS in DR and in NYC, so do your research and find the one you think will help you achieve the result you desires. In this stage you need to be really careful and make sure you are picking a BOARD CERTIFIED Plastic Surgeon, do your homework and investigate if this Surgeon Really is what he/she says he is. Make sure your surgery is going to be performed in a CERTIFIED Hospital or Out patient Clinic and investigate this place as well. Pre-op Examination: After selecting where and with who you are going to have your surgery, make sure you are in optimal conditions for undergoing a Plastic Surgery. Visit your PCP and have a Clinical Evaluation and some Blood Exams done. A lot of PS don't require lots of exams for a young woman like you, but if you have the time, invest in your safety. Mark your Surgery date: Now that you now you are Ready and fit for a Plastic Surgery, mark a Surgery date with your PS. I always recommend my patients to select a day that will give them enough time for proper preparations. you will need to book a flight, organize where you are going to stay, transportation. Ask your PS, usually we have someone who can help you organize your stay in DR. Enjoy your Journey, this can be a really good experience for you.Dr. Luis Redondo
