Procedure with least downtime? I really want a BBL but I cannot take much time off work, what can you suggest?

No question, the SAL and Fat transfer to your breasts is a faster recovery than buttock augmentation for most women. I would wait 3 months or longer between your surgeries.

Most patients do not need to take one month off from work,however, it is important to avoid direct sitting for at least 2-4 weeks after surgery. Most patients use pillows once they have to return to work to modify their sitting and keep pressure off of the fat cells.  I would recommend waiting about one month after your gall bladder surgery before having any elective surgery. Consult with a few experienced board certified plastic surgeons to get a good physical exam to be sure you are a good candidate for this procedure.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno

If you had your gallbladder removed laparoscopically I would recommend that you wait 3-6 months for recovery and healing of your incisions.  Usually you would want to have the liposuction and BBL done at the same time to ensure that there is enough fat to provide the desired augmentation.  Depending on the type of work you do, I would recommend taking 1-2 weeks off of work.  Most importantly, follow the postop instructions of your plastic surgeon.

It is probably reasonable to wait 6 weeks to 3 months following gallbladder removal.  If you are going to have liposuction and have the BBL performed later, I would make certain that you have enough fat remaining to give you the result you want for the BBL in the future.  Find

Thanks for the question and provided information as well.
For a BBL, I recommend my patients to allow 2-4 weeks for recovery, and to wait at least 5 days before going back to work, but each doctor has their own protocol.
I also recommend not to sit for more than 30 mins. every two hours, for the first 2 weeks, and always with the help of a boppy pillow. It is very important that you talk to him and follow his instructions.

Most patients take 1 week off from work.  You may need to make some minor adjustments when you return to work so that you can heal well.  If you are planning on BBL, I would avoid doing lipo alone and throwing away the fat.

I recommend waiting at least 3 months for patients who had gall bladder surgery prior having liposuction to their abdomen.Generally speaking, you need 1- 2 weeks for recovery from BBL and you start appreciating your result from 3 months onwards.Best is to combine liposuction with BBL in the same setting. Liposuction alone may not leave you with fat stores that can be used for future BBL.
