I wanted a Brazilian Butt Lift but after seeing many people take a month or more off work, I cannot do that. I work in Beverly Hills so I don't have to travel but I mainly want my flanks and abdomen lipo and I can always do the BBL another time. What would be the best option? I also just had my gallbladder removed, how long do I need to wait after before another surgery?

Answer: Procedure with least downtime? I really want a BBL but I cannot take much time off work, what can you suggest? It is probably reasonable to wait 6 weeks to 3 months following gallbladder removal. If you are going to have liposuction and have the BBL performed later, I would make certain that you have enough fat remaining to give you the result you want for the BBL in the future. Find a BBL expert who performs hundreds of BBLs each year and has great reviews and great before and after pictures.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA

Answer: Procedure with least downtime? I really want a BBL but I cannot take much time off work, what can you suggest? Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. For a BBL, I recommend my patients to allow 2-4 weeks for recovery, and to wait at least 5 days before going back to work, but each doctor has their own protocol. I also recommend not to sit for more than 30 mins. every two hours, for the first 2 weeks, and always with the help of a boppy pillow. It is very important that you talk to him and follow his instructions. Hope this is helpful. Good luck :)
