injectibles like restalyne or juvaderm around mouth.....and jawline for parenthesis around mouth and a little sagging in jawline how long will I have swelling after getting this around my mouth or jawline.....if I have parties coming up ...I don't want to risk being swollen

If the goal of your having the injections is to enlarge your lips, a few days to a week of swelling and bruising is expected if you are being injected with a cannula (a needle without point). Cannulas are less likely to penetrate small blood vessels, so there is less risk of bruising and swelling than with injections with a needle. I highly recommend using a cannula. In addition, the results are smoother with cannulas.

Answer: Swelling after Lip Fillers--Wait 2 weeks It can take 1-2 weeks for swelling to resolve. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase.

Answer: Injections Bruising and swelling can last up to two weeks after injections. Before your procedure you want to avoid aspirin, NSAIDS, and Vitamin E. These can contribute to bruising. Some patients find using the supplements Arnica and Bromelain helpful to minimize these side effects.

Answer: Swelling after Juvederm--results take 2 weeks Swelling can last 1-2 weeks after injections. Keep in mind, a combination approach will give the most improvement. I recommend fillers for the folds themselves but also lifting around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, rf treatments, J Plasma and peels to get the most conservative natural look. Please see a facial sculpting expert.
