I am looking for a treatment to improve my side profile. I think my jaw is kind of short and lack projection. Previously I have consulted with physicians and they have confirmed that my bite is perfect, which makes any jaw surgery unreasonable. The option I was offered is sliding genioplasty. I was wondering if this advancement would be reasonable. Thank you.

It seems that chin augmentation with implant would be appropriate procedure to address chin deficiency. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon, possibly 3D software simulation, is recommended. Good luck.
