Am I candidate for a revision lower blepharoplasty?

Had a lower blepharoplasty on the first of September. There were some improvements but im not totally satisfied with my results. Was thinking of getting a revision in a couple months. I still have like a long lump right under both my eyes, kind of looks like swelling but i'm not sure. Had my eye bags since birth. I have pictures where I lightly press under the tear trough area and I like how I look in those. Could revision surgery make me look like the pictures where i'm pressing under my eyes?

Your tissues are still healing from surgery.  I would not consider a revision for at least six months after your procedure.  I encourage you to discuss your concerns and options with your surgeon.

If pressing under the tear trough region helps, it may be that this is more of a volume issue rather than excess skin or fat herniation, which is typically what a blepharoplasty treats. Thus, instead of revision surgery, it may be better to add volume via fillers or fat transfer. Only after the period of time indicated by the surgeon who performed the surgery to reduce inflammation has passed will it be possible to determine whether a subsequent intervention is necessary to improve the results. You need more volume to the anterior-medial cheek. This can be accomplished by moving additional eyelid fat to the area or fat grafting. Filler is also an option but I will only last 12-18 months. Best to see an eyelid expert.

Unfortunately, what you have will not be corrected with a blepharoplasty revision. If this was the problem before, a blepharoplasty was not the answer then. What you need is volume enhancement with either fat or a filler by an expert.
