It should be safe to use breathe right strips 7 months after nasal surgery. However, you need to discuss this with your surgeon and get clearance from him or her. The question is why do you need breathe-right strips after a septorhinoplasty with turbinate reduction? The surgery was intended to correct the structural abnormalities leading to nasal blockage. Please discuss this with your surgeon to make sure you're healing properly.Best regards,Thomas Walker, MD, FACS
This is an issue you should address with your surgeon. It my depend of the amount and nature of tip correction, whether cartilage grafts were used, etc. Good luck.
I personally don’t recommend them until a year has passed. You may want to discuss this with your surgeon to get his thoughts.
Hi,I would say that it is fine to use the nasal strips; however, the point of having the surgery you had is to improve your breathing to the point of not needing such things. It may be worth following up with your surgeon to assess your nasal passages. Best,
Recovering from nose surgery is a healing process. It does take months for the swelling to come down so you can see your result. Swelling on the outside is indicative of swelling on the inside of your nose, which would affecting your breathing.Breathe Right Strips and other devices may be helpful; however, it is best to talk to your surgeon before starting anything new for a safe and happy result. Safety comes first.

However, it is always best to check with your surgeon to be sure that he or she agrees. If you had this operation to improve your nasal airway, then I am surprised that you need to use these. If you still have nasal airway obstruction symptoms, then that is also something to discuss with your surgeon.
Breathe Right Strips may be helpful; however, it is best to talk to your surgeon before starting anything new for a safe and happy result. Best wishes.
It's hard to say without an in-person exam, but there may be an edge of the nasal bone that patients are able to feel at times. This is not uncommon. If this is the case, it does not require treatment unless the patient desires to change this from a cosmetic standpoint. Best,
