My nasal bone looks like it has a pointy bump from the right side (not the front). Will it grow? (Photo)

It's hard to say without an in-person exam, but there may be an edge of the nasal bone that patients are able to feel at times. This is not uncommon. If this is the case, it does not require treatment unless the patient desires to change this from a cosmetic standpoint.

hello thank you for your question and provided information as well.. based in your question and the picture you showed you are a good candidate for rhinoplasty with technique open with refined the tip. and elevate the tip.

Rhinoplasty is a surgery to improve the shape of the nose for breathing or appearance.If the bone at the top of your nose is changed in your surgery, there is a chance irregularities might appear after surgery. I try to make the surface very smooth at the end of the surgery. Small bumps may be hidden by thicker skin, but patients with thin skin may see more of the bump as the swelling goes down. This may give the appearance a "growing" bump. I would bring this up with your surgeon right away so they can follow the bump.  It's best to wait until your nose is healed before a revision procedure to smooth it down for safe and happy outcome. Safety comes first. 

You do have a commonly seen nasal bone bump that can be corrected.  I won't predict as to whether this bone would grow with time or not.  Always choose a highly qualified  Board Certified Plastic Surgeon(ASPS) and ask to have a full examination as well as discussion.Good luck to you.Frank Rieger M.D.  Tampa Plastic Surgeon
