The downtime of a capsulorrhaphy is very short. This procedure does not usually result in a lot of pain. I feel you should be up and around in one or two days. But you will be out of the gym for 10 + days.

I'm sure your surgeon has discussed the surgical plan, the expectations, and follow up care and post operative restrictions with you, so please check your paper work. You will be restricted up to six weeks. This is usually less painful than the initial surgery.
