Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you may benefit from a revision to help straighten your nose. Maneuvers for this would include osteotomies and placement of spreader crafts, among other maneuvers. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

HiThank you for your question. I am slightly surprised that you were told that nothing could be done - that is not the case. There are techniques available which should be able to straighten up the nasal bones at the top, which involve gently breaking the bones on either side (and sometimes also in the centre) so that the nasal bony pyramid can then be readjusted back into a more central position. What I cannot tell you for certain is whether the nasal bones will end up being as straight as they were before the injury, however I would expect some noticeable improvement. Finally, if this were the only surgery you need on the nose, it should be possible to do it via a closed ‘endonasal’ approach rather than having to do it through an incision. Best of luck.

Your nose actually does look quite good after your nasal fracture and repair. It appears at one of your nasal bones is higher than the other and slightly crooked. To fix that would require rhinoplasty to shave down the dorsal hump, which is asymmetric, and placement of both medial and lateral osteotomies. This should be considered cosmetic and not billed to a patient's medical insurance. Very important to understand there is no perfect nose, just improvements.
