6 months ago I had botox done above my eyebrows in order to remove the line in between which unfortunately made my eyelids look droopy. The problem is that even after six months i still feel that the effect didn't Completely wear off . Is it possible that the effect could take more than 6 months to fade? I am concerned that the botox injection might have hit a nerve. Thank you

Answer: While Botox effects can last longer than the usual 3-4 months, it is very rare.
Coughing and Sneezing are natural reflexes for the purpose of getting rid of an irritant in your nose or throat. Although they can generate a lot of force and pressure, they will not affect your Botox treatment.Botox works at the muscles where it is injected. Follow the after care instructions...
Your best bet is to go see the doctor who performed the injection to determine if this is just a result of injection site trauma that will subside in a few days or whether the injection wasn't completed satisfactorily.
It appears as if too much Botox was placed or placed incorrectly in the chin. It will take a few months for the muscle to relax and return to normal. Please consult an expert with Botox for the best cosmetic results
