How long does Botox and Juvederm filler take to see results?

Botox results can take up to two weeks for complete impact. Juvederm is immediate, however there may be some swelling that would need to subside. 

Botox takes 3-7 days to begin to see results, with full results appearing after two weeks. Juvederm results are immediate, although there may be swelling that obscures them for up to a week, especially if done in the lips. Always be sure to see a board-certified dermatologist to ensure that you get the best results.

For Botox usually the full effect and results are seeing 7 to 10 days after. For Juvederm to see the full results may take about 2 to 5 days, even that you can see a immediate result after the Juvederm injections, there may be some swelling that can hide the final results.

Botox ( and Dysport) is a muscle action attenuators, weakeners. They kick in at 36-48 hrs and full effect in 6-7 days. Initially the effect last approx. 3 months but longer with repeated use. Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid filler and the result is immediate. It lasts 6-7 months but varies from person to person.

The full effect is usually seen after 7-10 days so additional injections are usually given at 2 weeks. Botox typically lasts 3-4 months, and after that it begins to slowly wear off. The injection of filler should be seen immediately, but you may need more if you are not happy with the amount placed during your first session. 2 weeks is a great time for a follow-up. It takes approximately two weeks to see the full results from Botox injections.  The results of fillers is usually immediately apparent.  There may be times where there is some swelling form the fillers that can take a few days or a week to resolve.  For the best cosmetic results please consult an expert.  Best, Dr. Green

Botulinum toxins (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport being the most popular) start wrinkle blocking within a few days, but reach maximal result at about 2 weeks.  The dermal fillers provide immediate results, but if you develop any swelling it can take a few days to subside and see your final result.  This is the case for all hyaluronic acid filers (Juvederm, Volume, Restylane, Belotero etc.) as well as Radiesse, which contains hydroxylapatite.  One benefit of getting fillers and wrinkle blockers simultaneously is that they compliment one another and the botulinum toxin helps the fillers last longer.  Best Regards.

Thanks for your question!  Early effects of Botox can be felt and seen by 3 to 4 days after injection. It takes about 2 weeks to see the final result.
