What procedure would best address my lower face, jowls and neck? FaceTite or lower face and neck lift? (Photo)

Question

I am 47 and currently down about 20 pds. with 20-30 more to go. I would like to address my neck and lower jowl area as well as define my jaw line. I did 2 rounds of Kybella and regret my decision as it is very uneven. I was looking at the Facetite procedure and feel like it might address some issues, but I want to do what’s most effective, yet look super natural. Any technique that is able to be used that leaves virtually no signs of surgical intervention is a bonus! Willing to travel!

We have some very exciting new technologies for non-invasive tightening of the Neck. Renuvion powered by J-Plasma (Cool Helium Plasma) along with liposuction can produce dramatic improvement in skin laxity and fat reduction.  This technology has produced beautiful results for correction of a turkey neck without the score is required for a traditional neck lift.  Ultherapy and other non invasive treatments for fat reduction A (Coolsculpting, Kybella) would also be an option. You appear to be a candidate for facetite.  Kybella dissolves fat but will not  deal with neck laxity.   You could benefit from a   surgical lift which would dramatically enhance your lower face and neck contour.  Facetite is in my opinion provides significant and impressive results from a minimally invasive procedure. The procedure takes about an hour and can be done under local anesthetic.

Choosing a minimally invasive procedure vs a surgical procedure depends in part on the results you are trying to achieve and the downtime you are willing to take on. FaceTite is an excellent minimally-invasive procedure that helps tighten the skin as well as reduce excess volume. However, the results do not substitute the surgical results of a full neck and facelift. Since you are still in your 40's with what appears to be good skin quality from your picture, you would be a good candidate for a less invasive procedure right now which would definitely help to improve your neckline.

FaceTite is a minimally invasive radiofrequency technology that can induce significant skin tightening while also providing deeper contouring.  It is introduced through minimal access ports and can provide impressive results. Kybella is a great option for some patients, but it doesn't address laxity very well. A lower face and neck lift would indeed leave scars (which are typically well-hidden), and depending on your exam may be an option too.
I would recommend consultation in the office with a surgeon who specializes in these procedures and can examine you.  That way the best expectations can be set for the available procedures.

There are several noninvasive and minimally invasive option for your.  I have had success with FaceTite treating necks similar to yours.  Of course it requires an examination to give you a better sense of what can be done in terms of minimally invasive skin tightening with FaceTite.

Facetite and Necktite utilize radio-frequency to help tighten tissues providing some lift as well as reduce unwanted fat.  It has been very popular done alone, with liposuction, and as a compliment to surgical lifts.  Your face is thin and has some areas of hollowness, so caution is needed not to worsen this with the facetite.  Your neck isn't sagging much and the small amount of neck fat could be nicely addressed with Necktite.  Filler into your hollow areas would help.  Generally surgical lifts show immediate results.  Facetite/Necktite show some results right away, but can take up to 6 months to get to the final results that range from about 40-60% of a surgical result.  Results last 3-4 years for facetite and 7-10 years for a typical surgical lift.  Find a qualified provider/surgeon.  Best regards.
