How long after thermage can I do microneedling with PRP?

Since there is not much downtime associated with Thermage, you should be able to schedule your microneedling procedure soon after. However, check with your doctor to see what will work best for you. Microneedling with PRP combines the rejuvenating properties of microneedling with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to rejuvenate the skin. PRP is derived from your own blood and contains restorative elements like growth factors that stimulate cell renewal in the dermal structure. When that is combined with the increased collagen production triggered by microneedling, the results can be dramatic. Make sure you are working with a board-certified plastic surgeon to ensure both your treatments are safe and successful.

     We actually combine Ultherapy with micro needling quite frequently. Because you are targeting different tissue depths, it actually is a great combination treatment. If you would like to separate them, you could do the micro needling as early as the next day, provided it may feel tender from the treatment the day prior. Within a few weeks the tenderness should resolve. Hope this helps.

Hello and thank you for your question.  Microneedling w/ prp can be done same day as thermage.   It depends on what you prefer.  Thermage penetrates deeper into the dermis stimulating collagen and collagen production, where as microneedling is more superficial to help smooth and tone skin.    Microneedling with prp and thermage are often done together to improve skin tone, texture, elasticity and collagen stimulation.   If wanting to do separately, the timing is up to you.   For best result try to do procedures closer together, 1 week.  Hope this helps..good luck!

Thermage and microneedling are two of my favorite procedures. Since there is no down time after Thermage you can have microneedling right away. Thermage will tighten your skin and produce new collagen. Microneedling will help make the texture and fine lines improve. Please consult an expert  in lasers for the best cosmetic results.
