Will microneedling with PRP help under eye bags and dark circles?

Our office has many different treatments for scars depending on the depth of atrophy or hypertrophy. Fractional lasers such as Fraxel, erbium, and CO2 laser can be combined with radio frequency and also fractional RF to improve textual issues and microtopography. Subcision and TCA cross are also used for deep ice pick scars and narrow valley scars in order to improve the micro texture. There are many things you can do to treat under eye bags, but a combination approach with nonsurgical treatments would give the most improvement: fillers (Belotero, Juvederm Volbella), lasers (Fraxel/CO2), Renuvion (J-Plasma), microneedling/PRP, Cosmelan peels and stem cells. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat might be the best solution long-term. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to see what is best for you and your goals. Thank you for your question. Microneedling with PRP is a great treatment option for addressing many skin concerns. However, Microneedling is not recommended for treating the undereye area. There are several other options available to help improve undereye dark circles and skin laxity, including various lasers, injectables and surgery.  I would recommend consulting with a Board-Certified Dermatologist to discuss your concerns and available options.
