There is no ideal weight to do liposuction. The closer to your ideal weight the better. Obese patients with BMI greater than 30 especially if they have comorbidities are better off shedding pounds before considering liposuction.
I always advise my patients to be a manageable weight before considering any type of body contouring. Liposuction is not a weight loss technique. Best, Dr. Nazarian
Liposuction is a very powerful technique in the right hands, and can have dramatic results in a variety of areas and a in a variety of patients. That said, the ideal liposuction candidate has localized fat deposits and quality overlying skin without significant excess skin or skin damage. Fat can then be removed to a]strategically sculpt the body and accentuate feminine curves. The skin then retracts over the new shape to give the final result. That said, you definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. A key quality indicator is Board Certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Don’t settle for less than a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.
There is no ideal weight to have tickle lipo or for that matter any form of lipo done, especially when you are doing it under local anesthesia. What I always do with my patients is ask them "what are you looking to achieve?" "What results will make you happy?"Then, given their problem area and what they want to see as a result, I can better assess them and tell them if a Tickle procedure done under local anesthesia will achieve that desired result. This type of discussion will deliver a more meaningful decision on your part of whether to have it done or not vs just using an arbitrary number, your weight , to decide. Also, as you probably already know, any lipo procedure is not performed for weight loss.Hope this helps with your decision to proceed.Best,Dr. Z
Without knowing your current weight I wouldn't venture a guess in your situation. Additionally, there is no Ideal weight for having lipocontouring performed, it is all an individual consideration.
Liposuction is not really used for weight reduction therefore, if you are at a normal BMI and you want sculpting in a few areas then you should be fine to proceed with like a suction. The tickle liposuction for doing this with local or mild sedation
No posted info as to weight, appearance in photos so no way to respond.... Plus Tickle Lipo is just a marketing name and in fact it offers NOTHING vs other lipo techniques.....
I don't see liposuction as one of those things you just try out.I suppose some patients start with one area and move forward and I have many areas treated later on. I personally use the tickle liposuction outfit and I have been happy with it.I don't think my results are any different regardless of equipment used. Power assisted liposuction such as microaire or tickle liposuction are more of an advantage for the surgeon and then the patient. It helps a lot with the Teague when performing hours of liposuction every day. It's like having power steering on your card. you're probably not old enough to ever have driven a car without power steering but it takes a lot of forced to turn the steering wheel on old cars I don't have it. Choose your surgeon not the equipment.Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
For tickle lipo you want to be at your lowest ideal weight. Keep in mind that any form of liposuction is not meant for weight loss.
Having done literally thousands of Tickle Lipo procedures, I have seen the vast majority of my patients return back to work within 1-2 days, especially for those with a desk job. The short downtime is secondary to the Tickle technology which minimizes the amount of tissue damage as part of the...
There is no set amount of fat that can or should be removed, it all depends on how much fat the patient has during time of surgery. There are upper limits of how much fat can be taken out one time.
If all these areas were done at one time, were they done under general anesthesia? Because, I honestly don't know how all these areas could be done safely and thoroughly with local anesthesia only. The fact that you asked about a fast heartbeat makes me think you had...
