I am 5'7 & 135lbs. I enjoyed my small 34b breasts when they were "anti-gravity" & I pulled off long, sleek elfy really well but I did always think larger chested women were pretty. Then I had my child in my late twenties & gained a bunch of weight during my pregnancy. Afterwards I worked out like crazy & ate really well but could not flatten out the loose skin on my abdomen & my breasts were droopy & not proportional anymore. I'd carefully considered getting surgery for over 10 years because I was afraid of dying on the operating table & I thought it was selfish to spend so much money on my vanity. Eventually, I was in a position where financially it was possible & my partner was able to take care of me for little while while I healed. So I seized the moment & my Dr. used 300cc Moderate Mentor implants. They definitely balance my top & bottom halves & now I can wear just about anything without fiercely padded bras!I didn't want to be huge but I wanted them full again & since I was getting surgery I wanted them to be at least a cup size larger.I am a little intimidated that I'll have to get surgery again one day (since they apparently don't last more than 10 years) & by then I'll be close to 50 years old.I was genuinely thrilled that my doctor gathered from the few words we spoke to each other the exact size I would've wanted but I was fairly afraid going in because there was no "rice test" or photo simulation or anything. & he was gone before I even woke up so I've never seen him again. They told me I'd be able to work in three days- there was no way that was possible. I had to get someone to cover me at work that week (likely due to this next part though). They accidentally squeezed me into a far too small surgical body suit which hurt a lot & pulled on my stitches so much that I felt like I was going to jump out of my skin to escape it. When I finally text the nurse about it (3 days in) she said they were out of the correct size for me & had "hoped" that it would stretch enough. It left pinch cuts along my sides for over two weeks after I took it off. This all happened shortly before life started getting crazy with the virus though so I'm not bitter & would see this business again once this is all over. I'm amazed at how well/fast my body has healed. Those first 4 days were horrible but after I stopped taking the pain killers I began to feel like I was getting better instead of that I'd never feel like myself again. Because I'm such a fan of things symmetrical it bothers me a little that my belly line seems so off & my left breast continues to be a bit lumpy on the outer side but I still hold out hope it'll improve. I have taken these 3 photos throughout my progress in healing. This batch are: left ones are pre-surgery & the right ones are right at 2 months post surgery.Overall, I wish I'd done this years ago. It's done great things for how fast I can get ready in the morning & for my self confidence. 100% recommend for ladies who are tired of feeling physically damaged or vulnerable whenever they get undressed. Now I just can't wait for the Covid-19 to go away so I can enjoy actually being measured/ fitted for fancy, lacy, sheer, strappy, etc. padding-less bras! But based on my tape measure I believe I've settled into a full C.
I love what Dr. Turner did to my stomach I love it an he is the nice doctor I have ever met he made my day and dream come true very much caring an the staff were great to made you feel special an important I love this place and recommend my family and friends here too.
My entire experience has been amazing from the consultation to the surgery day, today is my post op surgery day and I feel great. The discomfort is there but it’s manageable. Dr. Welsh is a man with a lot of experience and made me feel very comfortable. He is surrounded by an amazing team who makes you feel like you are family. Rick, the nurse anesthetist was also fantastic. He explained the anesthesia procedure thoroughly and made me feel safe. 300cc
He is awesome, his staff is awesome, the office is squeaky clean. I really can’t say enough good things and his entire practice. I have been comfortable, provided with tons of information about my procedure (Breast Augmentation). Plus, my boobs have been totally transformed into beautiful, perky, and large. Which says a lot from what I started out with. I can’t thank Dr. Welch and his team enough for giving me an excellent experience. (When looking at my pics, keep in mind they are from one day post-op, so lots of swelling & bruising which is completely normal).
You don’t have to wait until you have kids to have the body you want...!!! I’m please I made the decision and Dr.Welsh team are the best!! If you want honesty, care and consist communication ... I highly recommend going to see him!
Dr. Welsh did a Breast reduction/Lift January 2018. He made me feel at ease and gave me the results that I have always wanted. Nice perky cute boobs. Staff was amazing and looking forward to my Tummy Tuck scheduled July 13, 2018. After that possibly a thigh lift then face lift.
I just had a tummy tuck done on Friday 6, 2017. I can say that the staff was great for the most part. I hated getting naked and several people walking in and out the room while I'm completely naked and forced into different position including bending over. I felt so ashamed. When the doctor came in things were a lot better and more professional. I was the last patient of the day and I was not even all the way awake when i was ushered out to door to my car. (When I first came in there was another patient And they gave her plenty of time to wake up and talk and ask for more pain meds. Now that I'm home I have meds for nausea, 1pain meds (hydrocodone) and some antibiotics. The pain pills are not doing much and Im in a bunch of pain. I am going to add Ibuprofen to my pain list because I need pain management. Over all the staff was great, the location was clean, the doctor was amazing and looking at my bandaes and everything looks great.
OMG... This doctor is the love of my life. I was with him as a patient for 20 years. He has helped me through every imaginable situation. He has performed surgeries that no other doctor in the state of Georgia would touch. He saved the life of my best friend. He was like a security blanket to me. What more could you ask for. You will love him too.
I decided that I would get a co2 full face laser again. I had done it about 16 years ago and loved the results. However this time I noticed that both my lower eyelash lids were drooping slightly. My eyes look different and I am upset. My face is really tight as well as eye area so I am praying that as things settle that the droopiness will go away. I am hoping that someone can share their experience if they have had this happen to them and what I can expect. I will call Dr. up tomorrow and pray for good news. Thank you and God bless. Tina
I got my sexy back, mother of 3... I have NO regrets. Recovery has been pretty smooth NO complications!!!Love Dr. Welsh and his bed side manor. Im 8 weeks post op (1/27) and couldnt be more excited about my new tummy. Although i will probably go back for a round 2 of lipo, he did an amazing jobs!!!!!!!! All the staff is great and very helpful, but Javi in the Mooresville office is my fav. lol :)
From what I see in your photos all you need in an infra-umbilical plication (tightening) though a suprapubic incision
You might benefit from a midface lift/fat graft and possibly a simultaneous facelift. The midface collapse through loss of fat volume in your cheek has caused the problem.
From your photo; yes, it is very possible. If you weigh 260 lbs you must be tall (5'9" or more?.) In that case your BMI would be in the range suitable for the abdominoplasty.
Most surgeons would not operate on you at that BMI. Each surgeon sets his own limits. That being said it depends on the population the surgeon is serving. A BMI of 40 can be done in an outpatient setting if the surgeon is experienced in treating such patients. BMI by itself is not the most accurate assessment of an individual's health and ability to undergo surgery.
If you had a midline vertical laparotomy incision, and the subsequent scar, you will probably have a much better result with a full abdominoplasty, In that event Your navel cannot be floated anyway.
