Hello I received Voluma in my chin. When I don’t smile I don’t have an indentation but when I do the indentation shows and it is deep. Was this a poor job? Does it get better? Do I need to go back and get more voluma? Have any of you seen this before? Please advise.
Answer: Chin Please post a photo with you relaxed and a side view as well. You might need more filler or something else.

Answer: Voluma in my chin Hello, and thank you for your question. Filler can be placed in several areas to correct hollowness, dimpling, restore volume, etc. How many of syringes of Voluma were placed in your chin? Sometimes a person may need more than one syringe and may need to have another area of the face be treated to help create a more natural look. You can correct specific areas, but I would suggest seeing a provider to see if more product would be beneficial for your concerns.

Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Voluma I encourage you to return to your injector for an evaluation. It's difficult to determine the appropriate solution without more information. If the indention is from muscle movement then Botox may help. If it is an area that is low in volume then a touch up of filler may help.

Answer: Voluma in chin Hello-With any injection of dermal filler, there can be mild asymmetries post injection or with animation. In some cases, these correct after swelling has dissipated, which is usually between 2-4 weeks. I would encourage you to go back for a follow up with your provider to discuss your concerns.
