Considering revision, open with graft. Good afternoon. 3 years ago I had a rhinoplasty, septoplasty and turbinoplasty. While my breathing improved, I started to notice indentation in the nose bridge area as well as a dent on the left side on the bridge. It created a crease that goes all the way down to my nostrils. It can be see on. It’s sides but deeper on the left. I had a consultation for the revision and my doctor recommended open approach spreader graft with the rib cartilage. Is this the best option in my case?

Thank you for your question. In this situation, a more conservative approach is likely going to be the best. I'd recommend waiting, as swelling from the surgery will continue to dissipate, as will filler (most fillers last between 6 - 12 months). If you're really in a hurry to reduce width, I'd...
Hi @ereeen. Six weeks is very early in your healing process--I recommend waiting a full year to judge your final results. If you are unhappy with the results after 1 year, I recommend considering a revision rhinoplasty.
Best of luck,
