In March I had scar revision from previous breast reduction. Was supposed to get small 300cc gummy implants at the same time. Nurse said when right implant was placed, immediately had to be removed. You can see how this affected my right breast in after pic. Surgeon said expanders would be required before I can have implants. Why? Can’t get direct answer from him. Stats- 5’8” 32B, 13” breast width, 35 yrs old. I ❤️ him but want to know why so badly.
Answer: Implants The reason to use tissue expanders is to expand your tissue gradually. Perhaps, the 300 cc implant was just too tight and did not sit well, or perhaps it interfered with the blood supply to your nipple. The gummy bear implants must sit well. I am not a fan of the gummy implants because of the hardness. You might do better with the softer round cohesive gel implants. Please discuss this with your surgeon.

Answer: Bottoming out correction and breasts augmentation Dear Virginian, Thanks for posting your pictures and sorry for your less than optimal outcome. From observing your pictures, you appear to have a small A cup size breasts with bottoming out (lower pole too long) . To get more attractive looking breasts you will benefit from shortening the lower pole by wedge excision at the sub mammary crease. As far as breasts augmentation procedure, it seems to me that standard sub muscular procedure can be done without need for tissue expander. 300 cc implants will bring you to a 32 C cup size. Always consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with nice cleavage, full upper pole, symmetrical and natural looking. Best of luck, Dr Widder widderplasticsurgery.com

Answer: Breast implants It’s was a reasonable thing for your surgeon not to put implants in at the same time as your lift. That’s done all the time and then the surgeon places the implant at a second stage. But you shouldn’t need expanders prior to getting implants. You should be able to go directly to implants at this point.

Answer: Expanders Dear Perrenial, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.
