Hello! I've had 2 augs with lift my last in 2019, my breasts now sag a lot especially on the top and sides. (29 no kids) I am extremely unhappy with how they look now. I want the upper fullness I had when I first got them done. Wanting to know what would help that? Thanks
Answer: Breast revision Hi. I think your implants look like they are in the correct position. You could revise the breast lift to elevate your nipples slightly. This would give you a more youthful appearance. There are some other revisions you could consider as well, like possibly using a more projecting implant. Each maneuver has consequences, so when you change one thing, it may effect other things. Talk to your surgeon about your concerns so you can have the procedure which will correct your issues and make you happy. Best of luck!

Answer: Implants Just based on your photos, you large implants are still sitting high, but your own breast tissue has sagged. Another lift will correct this. Your implants cannot be placed higher.

Answer: Breast upper pole fullness Early postop breast implants, tend to sit high with good upper pole, partly due to swelling. Breast skin quality and the weight of the implant plus gravity, lead to pulling the natural breast tissue down. Options include, another breast lift, fat grafting the upper pole, internal mesh sling like Galaflex, and combinations. Recurrence is possible with revisional surgery, realistic expectations.

Answer: Unhappy with my breasts. It is hard to know what bothers you with your breasts and which picture shows the way you are now. The third picture, if that’s the way you look now, shows some recurrent ptosis. Basically the breast has migrated down and the implant is higher. This could also represent a capsular contraction. You need to be seen to determine what is the cause of your problem so that a treatment plan could be recommended.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear shillnyc, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.
