I'm 9 days post-op and my doctor has told me that everything is looking good and I'm recovering well. I'm very worried that I would not be able to do martial arts again after the operation. I do a form of Karate that involves hard punches and kicks to the body including the abdomen. Would this have an effect on my surgery,scar,abdomen etc. and does it mean I cannot fight ever again?
