Hello, I have hooded eyelids and wanted to know is there anything I can do about this. Am I too young for the plastic surgery? I'm 27.
Answer: The key here is that less is more. Only enough skin should be removed so as to expose the desired amount of eyelid platform. No fat should be removed. You may benefit from lash support and this can be done at the time of a very precise anchor blepharoplasty. Less is more. So do not let anyone remove your upper eyelid fold, you will look deformed and be very depressed. Whatever you do, do not have a forehead lift, that is not your problem. Too many women are talked into a forehead lift and regret that decision. Caution is strongly advised.

Answer: Eyelid and brow In your case a conservative skin pinch blepharoplasty might be all you need to reduce the eye hooding. I wouldn't address the brow because from the picture it looks appropriate and you are very young. Good luck!

Answer: Extra skin upper lids You have some extra skin which may run in your family since you are young. A conservative upper lid bleph should work well for you as your brow seems to be at a good height.

Answer: Upper eyelid surgery for hooded eyes When the skin on the upper eyelids is touching the eyelashes, this is considered dermatochalasis. A conservative skin only upper eyelid blepharoplasty can address rejuvenating the upper eyelids by removing the skin touching the eyelashes. For many examples, please see the link below

Answer: Yes Your eyes are a problem because of a combination of problems. You have excess skin of the upper lids and you may have a dropped brow (brow ptosis). Both are corrected with surgery. There is a danger in having an eyelid lift by a surgeon not comfortable with the brow lift. If too much skin is removed than the brow lift can become impossible later. Seek a consultation with a plastic surgeon who does a lot of brow and eyelid lifts.
