I wear a 34 c bra but one side is about a half cup size smaller than the other. First, will breast lifts decrease my cup size? Second, can I reduce one breast a little to make them more even without it looking funny? Third, my nipples are large. Can I get them reduced and prettier as well? One is elongated bc of the droop.

Answer: Are my breasts too small for a breast lift without implants? Thank you for your question and photos. Almost anything can be possible with surgery. What is important is that you and your surgeon are on the same page with your goals and have realistic expectations. Generally speaking a lift can be done that includes reduction of the diameter of the areola and reduction of some tissue to achieve a greater symmetry. At the same time this will also give the impression of a smaller breast. Therefore, if you desire a smaller breast with these changes then you should do fine. If you want to avoid a smaller breast then you may wish to consider implants at the time of your lift. I would recommend starting with a face to face consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who has experience in these areas. During your visit your surgeon should be evaluating your health to determine if you are a good surgical candidate and examining your tissues to get a sense of what type of procedure your tissues will allow. Only with a hands on exam can this be determined. Once an exam and opinion is rendered then you can decide if surgery is right for you. Good luck.

Answer: Breast lift Thank you for your question and photos. A breast lift will move the nipple position but it is difficult to tell if your cup size will be affected. If you needed to reduce only one breast and get a nipple reduction that could be done, too.All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL
