I have a problem with the way my abdominal muscles look. The left side looks perfectly normal with 3 even sized abs, while the right one seems to have one giant, one normal, and one really small sized abs. I've been looking for a way to make my abs look symmetrical and I've heard liposuction is an option, though I'm not sure if it would work in my case. Is there anything I can do to make my right side abs look symmetrical?
Answer: Asymmetry is NATURAL Do NOT let someone try to correct this asymmetry. Asymmetry of the abdominal muscles is entirely natural. We ALWAYS follow the patient’s anatomy in this region, even when performing high definition liposuction. To do otherwise creates a terrible, fake result.Learn to appreciate this natural asymmetry. I promise, it does not look unusual to others.

Answer: Can I fix my asymmetrical abs? I think there are ways to make you asymmetrical abs more symmetrical! You have fewer abs on one side and could add an ab through ab etching to have 3 abs on each side. Also, you could add some definition on the top on one side to create a matching top ab. You could also blend some of the stairsteped abs to minimize the stair step. Difficult to explain over email but it is possible to lessen the appearance of asymmetry. It is, however, normal to have asymmetrical abs. Very few people's abs are complete mirror images. And you cannot make complete mirror images in your case either because you will always have your underlying natural anatomy. It would look like you have 12 abs all stair stepped if you tried to put a cookie cutter template on top of your natural stair step abs. The key is to reveal your underlying anatomy. Since you don't have underlying anatomy in certain areas, those are the areas we can create new abs for you. Then where you do have underlying visible anatomy, we enhance and reveal them with high definition liposuction, trying to blend them in as much as possible to the surrounding abs and abs opposite to them. This procedure requires a high level of experience and would recommend you find someone who has artistic perfectionist attention to detail to sculpt you some beautiful abs! Good luck!

Answer: Can I fix my asymmetrical abs? Before we start, it is important to note that cartoon drawings or superhero costumes are not accurate depictions of real life abdominal muscle anatomy. The lines across the abs are not straight across, instead they are offset. The amount of offset in the pictures provided is totally normal. In recent years, ab etching or defining the ab muscles with liposuction has increased in popularity. For this procedure to be successful, there must be a layer of fat above the muscle to create the desired look. I fear you may be too fit to get the results you are looking to achieve. As always, be sure to research the surgeon doing your procedure to increase the chances of a favorable result.

Answer: Liposuction Candidate - VASER HI DEF Lipo, ThermiRF/J Plasma/Renuvion/Inmode BodyTite skin tightening, fat grafting for buttock For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermiRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. We also offer a complimentary consult (virtual and in person) which you can book via the link below. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Can anything be done to make your 6-Pack more Symmetric? Yes. Many men have very asymmetric muscles of their 6-pack. It appears to me that yours are naturally asymmetric as well. Now, there is no way to actually move where your muscles and tendons are, but what I would suggest to make this look better would be to convert your 6-pack to an 8-pack. You may actually already have an 8-pack, but I can only tell by examining you in person. I would add a crease on the top left side in the picture, symmetric with the line on the right as well as a new crease on the right side of the picture after the 2nd crease. I think that would look great!
