J-plasma VS Abdominal Etching: What do I do?

Question

I am so conflicted on these 2 procedures. I love the results of both, but the 2 doctors that I have narrowed down my choice to, neither of them offer both. But I WANT both? What do I do? I’m so confused on which route to go. I want the abdominal etching because of the look of course, but I also want the jplasma so my skin isn’t so loose after surgery and tightens up faster. Which is the better/smarter choice???...Which route should I go Jplasma or Ab Etching???... Sincerely, Conflicted

Thank you for your question regarding J-plasma vs abdominal etching on what you should do. A physical consultation and pictures are in order. However, without these, I would suggest based on your concern tthat the best procedure for you would be abdominal etching with the VASER liposuction. In my opinion, the VASER removes the fat the BEST and shrinks the skin much better than J-Plasma. I have both machines and use the VASER much more than the J-Plasma. If you are looking for the look of abdominal etching and are considered about the looseness of your skin, I would highly suggest using the VASER for abominable etching. VASER hi def abdominal sculpting or etching is a technically difficult procedure.  Your plastic surgeon must know his abdominal wall anatomy. When seeking revision VASER HI-DEF abdominal etching, please seek an experienced, board certified plastic surgeon with significant experience performing the VASER HI-DEF procedure.  Not all plastic surgeons own a VASER machine and most plastic surgeons do not perform the VASER HI-DEF procedure. Do your research.  Make sure your selected plastic surgeon has performed at least 100 VASER HI-DEF abdominal etching surgeries and have the before and after pictures to prove it.  Carefully examine their before and after pictures and check their reviews on RealSelf.   If you cannot find an experienced, VASER hi def plastic  surgeon in your neighborhood, consider traveling, if you must. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen. Thank you for your question!Laser liposuction is good for problem areas of fat, but lacks body shaping. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heats the skin with radiofrequency devices such as Renuvion (J-Plasma), InMode BodyTite, and ThermiRF to heat the undersurface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HI-DEF VASER Liposuction and can only be done by a well-trained body contouring specialist. At the same time, fat should be harvested and purified, with PRP and stem cells added, and then injected into muscles, indentations and cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. For a Brazilian butt lift (BBL), we inject the fat into the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. Cellulite should also be treated with a combination of Cellfina, subcision, and/or fillers such as Bellafill, Renuva synthetic fat, or Sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery, then it will need to be removed: tummy tuck/abdominoplasty for lower abdominal skin; breast lift for excess breast skin; and/or a brachioplasty for loose arm skin.

Thank you for your question my recommendation is if you are the candidate is to go with 4-D High Definition Luposculpting this in combo with J-Plasma the results are incredible.   But would like for you to do your research when choosing a Plastic Surgeon make sure the Surgeon you are going with is well trained in what you are looking for second make sure he is BOARD CERTIFIED BY THE AMERICAN BOARD OF PLASTIC SURGERY.

This really shouldn't be an Either/Or question.  They do very different things.   If you have loose skin, then J-Plasma or body Tight are good, minimally invasive ways of tightening your skin.   The six-pack etching, as you said is just for appearance.    I have performed these together when needed.  But, unless your skin is loose to begin with, the skin tightening shouldn't be necessary.
