Thank you for your question. Botox/fillers have different effects then microneedling. If your lines aren't deep or set in, the microneedling will soften the appearance but botox is the golden standard when it comes to treating the 11's. Botox should only need to be done every 3-4 months. Fillers are not used in this area.

The 11 lines are caused by movement of the muscle under the skin. The most direct method of treating the 11 lines is by using Botox, because it weakens the muscle causing the lines. Fillers and micro needling may help to some extent, but Botox would give the most improvement in my opinion.

Thank you for your question. I would recommend to keep up with your Botox every 4-6 months to prevent the worsening of your frown lines. At the same time series of microneedling would be helpful to improve the lines that are already formed. Filler also would be to improve the lines that has already formed, however filler injection in this area needs to be done by an expert since consider danger zone.

Botox would be best to address this complaint. Microneedling can help the appearance of fine lines by overall improving skin quality and texture by stimulating collagen production, but if your main focus is the 11's, I would start with botox. Sometimes a higher dose is initially needed to help smoothen out static wrinkles, with lower doses being needed moving forward for maintenance. Hope this helps!

Based on the 1 posted photo your 11's are best treated with Botox (or any neuro modulator injections) over HA fillers.
