Thank you for your question. Botox is safer in auto-immune conditions such as alopecia however is contraindicated with neuromuscular disease such as myasthenia gravis. Filler requires more care in aut-immune conditions such as Lupus which may cause inflammatory reaction since filler can act as a foreign substance. Thank you.
Thank you for your question. Two important point is to compare your current pictures to your before picture and also what type of filler has been used in the past (Juvederm can be associated with filler migration and also the technique and the amount of filler was used). It is hard to answer the question without examining your lip, but it seems you might have slight filler migration in the upper lip border. If Hyaluronic Acid base filler was used in the past, you can easily dissolve it with use of Hyaluronidase. Thank you.
Thank you for your question. I would recommend to keep up with your Botox every 4-6 months to prevent the worsening of your frown lines. At the same time series of microneedling would be helpful to improve the lines that are already formed. Filler also would be to improve the lines that has already formed, however filler injection in this area needs to be done by an expert since consider danger zone.
Botox in Masseter will help with TMJ and grinding, however at the same time will slim down the lower face. The usual dose is 15-30 units on each side. Two things to keep in mind is repetitive Botox to masseter muscle can make the jowls worse and also can cause hypertrophy of temporalis muscle (the muscle in temple area). Thank you.
Hi Thank you for your question. This is possible paradoxical hypertrichosis (increase in hair density). This can be adverse effect of laser hair removal, it can happen on face and neck and individual with darker skin types. Usually the treatment involves laser hair removal of the effected area with the appropriate laser energy setting - using suboptimal laser energy maybe a triggering factor as well. Wish you the best.
