What type of procedure do I need for my nose? Will alar reduction fix this or cause unevenness? (photos)

I have some insecurities regarding my nose flaring up when I speak and smile. It widens out (I even flared it for one of the pictures for an example). I've read about alar reduction which is interesting. I included a side profile picture as well. I don't have any crookedness or bumps to my bone. Will alar reduction fix this or cause any unevenness to my appearance?

Alarplasty would reduce the flare in the nostrils and can be done awake under local anesthesia. Just be aware that some surgeons do alarplasty  routinely while others do them rarely.

Alarplasty: an alar plasty is a procedure to narrow the width of the base of the nostrils where they attach to the face. It can be performed as an isolated procedure, in which case it can be done in the office under local anesthesia. Or, it can be combined with other aspects of a rhinoplasty such as changing the dorsal profile, changing the length, projection, or width of the nose, etc. determining what features of your nose you would like to change is best done in consultation with a nasal surgeon but begins with your own wishes about what you would like to change.

My suggestion for your nose is rhinoplasty procedure. Alar flaring is not the only issue. In the photo only lower and middle third of your face is visible. I think total rhinoplasty is the best solution for perfecting your facial harmony.
