How to fix my inverted/flat nipples?

My nipples are absolutely flat, and do not ever poke out even if stimulated. I believe they are inverted. How can I get this fixed so they look normal? I am very embarrassed. Thank you.

Thanks for your question.  Many times, just placement of an implant will cause the nipples to be a bit more prominent.  Alternatively, there are procedures to surgically evert the nipples.  This could be done at the same time as the augmentation, if desired.  Best of luck.

Hello, there is nothing necessarily wrong with inverted nipples - many people can function normally including the ability to breastfeed.  New inversion of a nipple can be a sign of a breast problem but this does not sound to be the case with you, if they have been inverted since your early...

I think you will be fine. I do not think that the tanning bed did anything. My guess is that you developed some swelling because of the etanning and that caused the nipple to become relatively inverted. You might have type I inversion all along.

It is not normal to have bleeding from a nipple, whether it is inverted ot not. You should see a General Surgeon who specialises in breast surgery. If you live in a larger city, there will probably be several hospitals in your area that have dedicated breast centers.

As mentioned by other authors, inverted nipples can be corrected in the office nicely by division of the ducts. However, many patients who have breast augmentation find that the inverted nipples are secondarily corrected by the augmentation alone, as an added bonus, with no other procedure. So...
