Ive had a successful inverted nipple correction on both sides and am very happy with the outcome. Im hoping to have children in the future, what will happen to my breasts/the milk? I am aware i will not be able to breasfeed and that is something i accepted, however can anyone tell me what i can expect to happen to my breasts when the time comes? Will they still fill internally with milk and will it cause pain since i am not able to expell it?
I had a consultation with a surgeon today who said he uses a flap technique to help my grade 2 inverted nipples. I wanted to ask if this technique is effective and recommended as he wasn't able to show before and afters so I'm a little unsure. The technique is that the nipple is split into two flaps and one flap is folded under to give the nipple some substance to stay projected. Then there is just a stitch that goes horizontally across the nipple. Please let me know!
I just had inverted nipple surgery a day ago and they placed a stent over my nipple connected to a stitch to keep it erect, which they said is normally held in place for a week. However, I will be out of town the following week and have arranged to come in in 2 weeks. They said this is totally fine and they will remove the stitch and stent in 2 weeks, I'm just concerned if it's okay to leave that one stitch in that long?
I am in my 20s and have a very mild inverted nipple on my breast and am willing to do it under just local anesthetic if it helps with price. I don't have much money and am too ashamed to talk to my parents about it.
I had a nipple sparing bilateral mastectomy. My right nipple became necrotic directly after and is now deformed and doesnt match my left. Im considering getting the nipples removed and having them tattooed on as Ive seen some amazing 3D tattoo nipple reconstruction work recently. Im wondering if theres a surgery to fix my inverted right nipple to match my left somehow or if I should get them removed and tattooed on. My current plastic surgeon does not do nipple reconstruction for reference.
Im stage 1 or 2 and they get hard when they're cold. I worry that they will get hard during the operation, does local anastasia stops the area from feeling temperature ?
