I had an inverted nipple repair procedure that led to both nipples turning black and loss of nipple tissue. Before the procedure I could manually push the nipples out, but now it appears that there are only areolas with an empty hole in the middle as now there is no nipple tissue that can be pushed out. What could have caused this? Are there any options for repair or reconstruction?
hello! so to start off. I have always found my nipples to be strange. Its because they never pop out like other normal peoples nipples. So I just keep that fact to myself and it keeps bugging me and stressing me. Every time I try to google it the first thing that pops up is BREAST CANCER! However, the only thing that makes me feel less anxious is that my nipples have always been that way since the beginning but I thought they would change after puberty.
I had a nipple sparing bilateral mastectomy. My right nipple became necrotic directly after and is now deformed and doesnt match my left. Im considering getting the nipples removed and having them tattooed on as Ive seen some amazing 3D tattoo nipple reconstruction work recently. Im wondering if theres a surgery to fix my inverted right nipple to match my left somehow or if I should get them removed and tattooed on. My current plastic surgeon does not do nipple reconstruction for reference.
Hi, I wanted to hear what the healing process is for inverted nipple surgery? It seems like a fairly quick recovery, but wanted to confirm its a couple week of being mindful of protecting that area. With spring spring the corner I wanted to see if I could get into the pull, volley ball ..
Hello! I have always been quite self conscious about my nipples. I am 22 with an almost one year old, and I didn't have any success breastfeeding long term due to my anatomy. I definitely want (and need) to get something done for them. Is there anything that can be done? When cold, they do go hard temporarily (but still are not attractive). They are not sensitive at all, so am not worried about losing any sensation. I mostly clearly hate the nipple, but want smaller areola as well. Thank you!
my nipple has all of a sudden become inverted and is leaning to one side, and the right side cannot become erect. there is also a small divit in the middle and it is crusting. do i need to see a doctor? can i fix this?
I had grade 3 inversions so got them corrected in Feb 2020. after 1 month my right nipple inverted again (grade 3 again). Unfortunately this happened at the start of covid, my surgery was unable to help and they ended up closing down since. I want to try another correction but am worried that there may be more risks since its already previously been unsuccessful - would appreciate some advice. Thanks.
I am in my 20s and have a very mild inverted nipple on my breast and am willing to do it under just local anesthetic if it helps with price. I don't have much money and am too ashamed to talk to my parents about it.
My left nipple occasionally is inverted briefly after taking off my bra and one time I noticed it from laying down on my stomach. It always comes back out after a few minutes or after touching it. When I normally look at it it usually only has a slight indent but is not flat or inverted, more like a small dimple. I think it has always been that way but reading online is making me double guess myself. I'm 22 and I have no family history of breast cancer. Should I worry?
