Hello, hope you are well. You would be an excellent candidate for a facelift. There are less invasive options for facial rejuvenation--fillers, skin tightening devices, etc--but you will end up investing in an unsatisfactory result if you proceed in that direction. The central issue at hand is the skin redundancy of the lower face and neck which is really only addressed adequately with surgery. Different surgeons will promote their technique as the best, but in reality the results are more important than whether it's a deep plane, SMAS-ectomy, or something else. (The caveat here is that you will want to avoid a 'weekend lift' or its variations which is essentially a skin excision usually performed under local anesthesia without dissection and suspension of the SMAS). I generally employ modified versions of the deep plane lift tailored to the individual. Best,Dr. Tower
Thank you for your question and sharing your photographs.Based on your areas of concern it seems that deep plane facelift and necklift may provide the foundation for the changes that you want to achieve. Eyelid surgery could also contribute to rejuvenation of the expression around the eyes.To get a sensible idea about the impact of a deep plane facelift I typically suggest two prospective patients to examine their facial appearance lying down completely flat without a pillow. It produces a reasonably close representation of the impact of a facelift intervention.Neck contouring can be evaluated reasonably well in computer simulations but facial contouring is not helped very well by this approach.
From the photos, the Advanced MiniLift under local would give such great results and is so easy to undergo. It fixes the jawline and neck quick and safely. Never go under general if you can help it. Cost is on special currently for just $15,000 and is so worth it.
For aging neck and jawline, a facelift best addresses theses areas. There are several times of facelift techniques, some "less invasive" than others; this should be addressed at one's consultation. Nonsurgical skin tightening with Sofwave will help define the jawline and may take more than one treatment with annual maintenance. Fillers will temporarily "lift" the cheek and can help contour/fill the jawline.
FaceTite can internally tighten the skin in the lower face and neck. After all the skin has been heated and contracted, we shape the neck with liposuction to give definition and remove stubborn pockets of fat. In one quick treatment, we can tighten skin, remove fat, and contour the lower face, jawline, and jowls with only a weekend of downtime. Keep in mind that combination approaches will give you a more significant improvement as opposed to a single procedure. I recommend getting a consultation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Surgical Facelifts & Necklifts are expensive, aggressive, invasive, have risks of infection and scars, and engender significant post-surgical downtime. If you're looking for non-invasive, consider a "liquid" nonsurgical filler facelift, which can rejuvenate the under-eyes (tear troughs and hollows); can augment the cheeks to contour a more feminine, youthful, oval, heart-shaped face and diminished smile folds; can elevate and straighten the angles of the mouth and marionette lines and straiten and tighten the jawline for better definition. And, finally, consider a nonsurgical filler necklift for both diminishing the vertical neck cords and improving the quality and tautness of the central skin (between the cords). What's more, in experienced hands, all of the aforementioned can be accomplished, if so desired, in one treatment session of about 45 minutes and with little to no post-treatment downtime. In fact, most results can be seen on the spot immediately following the treatment. You would be wise to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist, and best of luck.
The gold standard treatment for jawline and neck is necklift. Incisions travel around the ears and there may be one under the chin. This will improve the neck bands and skin laxity, and will result in a smooth neck and jawline. Adding the lower facial component helps the area around the mouth and as high as the junction between the lower lid and upper cheek. This is the best more time tested management.Minimally invasive threads are not reliable and wax and wane in popularity because they are not optimal. And topical therapies like Ultherapy are not as impactful.Best of luck to you! I would recommend you visit with a board certified plastic surgeon. You can find one at plasticsurgery.org.
Hello motherofpearl7! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Aesthetic Skin. Thank you for your question. Based on your concerns, there are several non-invasive treatments available to treat loose skin. This can include use of: injectables with dermal fillers, threads, and various laser resurfacing treatments. I highly recommend scheduling an in-person consultation in order to better assess your face and discuss an appropriate treatment plan to help achieve your aesthetic goals. I hope this helps and best of luck!
The only procedure that will give you the degree of correction and measure of satisfaction that you want is a deep plane facelift. This is a cheek, jawline and neck repositioning in a natural way. My advice to patients who wish to avoid surgery and chose minimally invasive methods: take a vacation. You will be happier with the way you spent thousands of dollars!
A deep plane facelift is an ideal procedure for rejuvenating the lower face. To achieve a balanced and natural result, I also recommend combining it with a neck lift.
