my eyelids are uneven, I would like my left eyelid to look more like the right one, to be more symmetrical. I have read about fillers and the results seem satisfactory, but I have also read that fillers in this area can cause blindness, I would like to avoid that. are there other methods?
Answer: Filler will not help you. Your issue is that you have bilateral upper eyelid ptosis with compensatory brow elevation. You need surgery to address the upper eyelid ptosis. I would likely approach this with an anterior levator resection ptosis surgery with an anchor crease formation. Your current creases are asymmetric and the result of central disinsertion of the levator aponeurosis. When the ptosis surgery is sufficient, the eyebrows will relax to a more natural position. Please be aware that most ptosis surgeons are not aesthetic surgeons. That is a problem. You need an aesthetic result. Also most ptosis surgeons will offer you posterior approach ptosis surgery on one sort or another. These procedures are simpler than anterior levator resection ptosis surgery which is why they are popular with surgeons but not nearly powerful enough to correct your issues in my opinion. Your eyes can be your best feature.

For improve the symmetry and make eye corners more upward I recommend you endoscopic brow lift. If you can provide photos with better lighting, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation.Best Regards!

Answer: Non-Surgical Chemical Brow Lift for Eyelid Rejuvenation -- add Ultherapy, Thread Lifting, RF Skin Tightening, Laser Treatments As we age, our eyelids naturally sag and droop. A combination approach would be best to see visible improvement. In terms of non-surgical treatment options, I would recommend a Chemical Brow Lift (using Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeuveau) and filler injections to rejuvenate the temples, eyebrow, eyelid, eye troughs, upper eye hollows, and forehead. I typically combine this with Ultherapy and thread lifting to lift the brow; RF and skin tightening laser treatments to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin; and laser or superficial RF devices for improvements in texture, color, and any crepey skin around the eyes as needed. In some cases, surgery is the best solution to achieve the desired results. See an expert for a formal consultation. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: What you should know about ptosis of the eye Thank you for your question and photo. It appears that you may have ptosis of the left eyelid, causing the muscles that lift your eyelid to weaken and produce a slightly asymmetrical appearance. The ptosis can be corrected with blepharoplasty surgery to tighten the muscle and provide a subtle lift. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. They will be able to conduct a thorough physical examination to determine the cause of your eye asymmetry and suggest the best treatment option for you.

Answer: Eyelid Lift Hello and thank you for your question! We would recommend a device that lifts and tightens the skin for the left side only. Sofwave may be used on the left eyelid to tighten the skin and lift. It may also be used on the left forehead to lift the eyebrow and achieve more symmetry. Sofwave uses ultrasound technology and is FDA approved for lifting the eyebrows.

Answer: Ptosis You have asymmetric eyelids, also known as ptosis. This is a condition where your upper eyelid droops over your eye. Ptosis can be very subtle or so much that it covers the pupil which blocks your normal vision. In your case, the filler will not correct this issue. I recommend ptosis surgery. Having surgery to elevate the eyelid will correct ptosis in most people. This is an easy procedure that will be performed under general anesthesia. Best wishes.
