I've always hated how low my brows are and find myself raising them in photos so that I don't look so unintelligent and bored. They just sit there in a straight line, and they're so low that I can't apply eye makeup (which I love!) and have it be visible. I don't feel that it's an issue with the brow bone, just my eye*brows*. Would a brow lift solve this problem?
Answer: I agree that there is no substitute for a personal consultation. An endoscopic forehead lift is a very good surgery. The recovery is rapid and the service can be used to shape the face and forehead. The procedure can be performed under intravenous sedation, so no need for general anesthesia. The key is to carefully study the before and after images of potential surgeons and make sure you like what you see.

Answer: A brow lift can permanently affect your facial character and expressions. A natural-looking eyelid procedure may be an option Each surgeon has a different perspective about the aesthetics of the eyebrows which is greatly influenced by their artistic vision as well as the patient’s personal desires. In the mid to late 90s, it was very popular to perform brow lifts in the northeast and in New York. However, brow lifts has decreased in popularity over time. Unfortunately, a lot of people were getting their brows lifted and they have a permanent surprised look. My focus in my practice is a natural appearance, so my perception on the position of the brows and how it looks is that it changes the character of the face. The brow position has such an impact on a person’s face and can change a person’s expression significantly. There are different aesthetics not only in our area but also throughout the country. When I visited colleagues and other parts of the country, I have seen that the desire for very high arched brows is very popular in certain regions, so this is a very personal question for you to decide. If you do raise your eyebrows, you feel that it allows for more of the eyelid to be shown, but is if it is really worthwhile to have your eyebrows arched all the time? I think that based on the photo you submitted, in order to achieve that, the brows would have to be raised fairly high. In my opinion, I don’t think that would look natural. I would ask you to consider some type of upper eyelid surgery as an alternative to brow lifting, which is based on the absence of a proper physical examination. Understand that a brow lift is a procedure that can significantly affect your facial expression. If for any reason, that is the look that you desire then moving forward with a browlift would make sense. From my aesthetic, I think a high arch brow for you would take too much from the character of your face and revealing more of the upper eyelid. So think about the long-term impact of having brow lifting surgery on the overall facial expression and not just in the isolated area of the eyes. Consider the alternative of doing upper eyelid blepharoplasty, and then do your research. Also, meet with qualified experienced cosmetic surgeons and then move forward with a plan that you are comfortable with. I hope that was helpful, I wish you the best of luck, and thank you for your question. This personalized video answer to your question is posted on RealSelf hosted through YouTube. Answer: Browlift dilemma. Undergoing any surgical procedure requires careful attention to detail and consideration for different options. Consider obtaining several opinions before moving forward with any given procedure. Trust your face to a board-certified facial plastic surgeon or a board-certified plastic surgeon with very extensive browlift and blepharoplasty experience.

Answer: Heavy brows Not sure if brow lift is what you need. Upper blepharoplasty may be the answer. You should consult with an oculoplastic or plastic surgeon for evaluation and discussion of goals and options.

Answer: Can an eyebrow lift fix my caveman brow? There are a variety of procedures, both open and endoscopic, that can improve the cosmetic appearance of the eyebrows and forehead. There is no one best procedure. Each has benefits and drawbacks and depends on desired outcome and individual anatomy.Keep in mind that following advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you exactly what to do based on two dimensional photos without examining you, physically feeling your tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history and discussing the pros and cons of the operative procedure would not be in your best surgery. Natural appearing results need to be individualized and what is appropriate for one patient is not necessarily the best for someone else. I would suggest that you find a plastic surgeon with certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and one who is ideally a member of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. The length of the procedure, cost, and the specific operative steps to achieve an ideal cosmetic result vary from patient to patient and would depend on the findings at your consultation examination.
