Why are there fluctuations with my dermal filler results?

Thank you for sharing your excellent question.  After a few weeks you will lose some amount of volume due to the resolution of tissue swelling but daily fluctuations are inevitable based on how dehydrated you may be.  I would recommend either additional filler placement to add volume to the areas that you have seen diminish with time, while also ensuring appropriate water intake all day long to maintain your skin's natural turgor.  Hope this helps.

Your filler results can fluctuate a little from day to day. Hydration status, getting adequate sleep, stress, etc can all play a part in your overall look day to day. Filler results will fade gradually over six months to a year depending on the product and amount used.

Hi, thank you for your question. Having more fullness for the first couple of weeks after filler treatment is very normal due to the inflammation that is caused. Moreover, the fluctuations that you are experiencing could be caused by diet and level of hydration throughout the day. The more hydrated you are, the filler is going to look slightly more plumped. However, if you are continuously noticing "flatness" in the areas that were treated, I recommend adding more volume.
