I have had 2 revisions since last year. The main problem is the implant deviating to one side. It still hasn't been fixed. I've talked to my surgeon and I proposed using pure cartilage for my revision. He agreed but suggested horse cartilage instead of my own as it comes with less complications. He tells me the infection risk is low and the deviation problem will be eliminated. How true is that? Is that really a better option than artificial implants?
