Hello. I had revision rhinoplasty for the 3rd time 9 months ago with cartilage graft from my ribs . I was very careful during this time and nothing happened to my nose. But unfortunately the other day at the store I tried to get a pair of shoes from upper shelf and two of the boxes containing shoes fell on my face and nose. I was so shocked that I don't even remember how severe it touched my face. However, I didn't feel any pain, or bleeding or swelling or change. Have I ruined my nose again?

Answer: You likely did not damage your nose 9 months after tertiary revision rhinoplasty.
It’s positive that your surgeon has identified the issue as scar tissue and suggested a minor revision with local anesthesia. Scar tissue can sometimes cause contour irregularities after rhinoplasty. A minor revision to remove the scar tissue might improve the symmetry of your nose.
Best of luck !
