I am between jobs now. However, I am interviewing. What is the down time for subscion for acne scars? Is this procedure something I can do on a Friday and return to work on a Monday? Thanks
Answer: Bruising after Subcision It depends on whether your subcision procedure is fairly mild or more intense, but in general the bruising from it lasts only a few days. Getting it done friday and expecting to look 100% normal on monday is possible, but if you have significant scarring they may still be some light bruising remaining. I don't think it would be enough to prevent you from going to work, however.

Everybody responds differently to the procedure, but most will have bruising that only lasts a few days. For purposes of job interviews, I suspect that by 2-3 days, even if all of the bruising hasn't resolved, then a little makeup with do the trick! Good luck.
