I had TL subcision combined with RF microneedling about 2.5 years ago. I believe i did not need this procedure as my scarring was shallow on one side with only 3-4 moderate scars on the other. Before the procedure, I didnt have visible nasolabial folds. After healing, I noticed new lines and volume loss in my midcheek. Ive attached photos showing the change. Can you help me understand what might have caused this? Could the subcision or structural shift from the procedure have contributed? And is there anything that can safely improve this without making it worse?
I have had 3 aggressive CO2 laser treatments, as well as several other less intense laser treatments that required only the use of topical anesthesia to be tolerable. In totality, they gave me substantial (60%) improvement. Can these acne scars be further improved? If so, what other treatments might I try?
I am over 2 years post op from my breast augmentation and although my results are fine I ended up with very bad scarring. Ive gone through various rounds of injections, lasers, and scar camo tattoos. Although the color is improving Im still really bothered by the indentation caused by tethering in one of my scars. It caused my underboob to have a square like appearance rather than round and it just looks bad at certain angles. Can I do a subcision on this scar to pop the tethering out? Some doctors are telling me to leave it alone one doctor told me he could do it. Whats the risk of my implant popping? Also would this be a risk of hyperpigmentation or keloiding?
I have a scar from an eyebrow piercing 10+ years old. The photo attached is after several Morpheus8 treatments to reduce the visibility of the scar. It has helped and I realize the scar is not noticeable to most people but it still bothers me because some people do notice and ask about it. Would scar subcision be appropriate or would the area look worse from subcision?
I have tried microneedling in 2019 and Fraxel in 2010. My dermatologist recommended subcision since the acne scars are deep and have been there for 18+ years. DDo you think subcision will be successful, how many treatments do you think I will need, and how much recovery time? I am also concerned about infection since the scar area is large. Do you think fat transfer would be another option?
Depending on the lighting, my acne scars can seem either superficial or severe, and I can't tell! When I stretch my skin, they mostly disappear (maybe by 85-90%). I also can't tell what type of acne scars these are - I always assumed rolling, but could some of them be boxcars? How much improvement might I be able to see? Do I need subcision? Could I potentially go without it?
