I just received a skin subcision and a TCA Cross from Dr Ben Behnam and it's the first day and I already see improvement. I am going to follow up with photos before and after. I was adamant to see him and I am quite pleased with how our interaction went, the staff seemed quite friendly and we covered alot of ground that I've used other treatments that didn't get close to as effective to the success I see in targeted areas that I do now. I am looking forward to one more subcision + TCA cross treatment with him. Updated on 20 Mar 2019: It's not exactly where I want it to be, after the peeling occurred I saw improvement. I guess I wouldn't have been as disappointed if I didn't shell out 1300 for it to not be closer. I'll have faith in the process like I keep telling myself, I wish it would have remained where it was during the bruise and swelling of the first few days but without the bruising. I can believe collagen will keep producing beneath. I can still see all the scarring from post treatment and really had higher hopes that subscision plus TCA would have a greater impact on my main priority scar. I'll keep you posted as time reveals more. I did not receive any hyperpigmentation from these treatments. Updated on 20 Mar 2019: I would say the subcision was a 100% success, the TCA cross he did say would require more appointments so just for clarity I am satisfied I just want it to be perfect now like anyone would. I do see a drastic difference in the depression of my face in that area, which was crucial to making it appear better. The surface appearance he did let me know would require multiple treatments. I stand by my decision to take Dr. benham on and I am not going to go anywhere else to solve this. Updated on 22 Mar 2019: Taken on the 22nd, one minor scab on the subcision entry peeled off that I was unaware of and I will begin derma rolling with a .5 to boost collagen reproduction SS recommended. Will need a second treatment, but I'm overall happy for see the results somewhat emerging. Updated on 24 Mar 2019: One of my friends saw a noticeable difference in the overall quality of my skin on this side, which prompted me to take another pair of photos. I do believe that the subcision has increased the plumpness that was hindered by scar tissue beneath the surface. I will start proactively using my .5 dermal roller, starting tonight Updated on 27 May 2020: I had gotten this treatment done twice, and altogether I saw temporary results likely caused by the subcision. I can't really say I yielded the results I felt that I did after the procedure. Once my facial swelling went down and settled my scarring doesn't look much different. I would still say that Ben is an amazing doctor, I just can't vouch my results as being an extraordinary improvement.
The process was fast, it didn't hurt :). I have acne scars deep ones . This will be my 3rd session he doesn't go to deep because I have a high risk of pigmentation . My skin does look somewhat better then it did before I had nothing done. He knows what works best for your skin. I'm Hispanic/ Latino

It depends on whether your subcision procedure is fairly mild or more intense, but in general the bruising from it lasts only a few days. Getting it done friday and expecting to look 100% normal on monday is possible, but if you have significant scarring they may still be some light bruising remaining. I don't think it would be enough to prevent you from going to work, however.
Subcision is best for rolling acne scars like yours, and using it along would probably get you some good results. However, like others have said, in most cases a combination of a few things (combining it with CO2 laser or a peel, for example) yield the best results when it comes to removing acne scars.
Redness and swelling are what usually happen for a few days after the procedure, and crusting starts day 2. The tightness could be just byproduct of the swelling- but if it's severe and/or doesn't begin to go away with the other symptoms during the next few days definitely check in with your dermatologist.
It is very rare for Botox to migrate to other areas, as long as it is done correctly. You can not rub Botox to such an extent where it moves.
The prices of Juvedermcan vary quite significantly in Los Angeles. Typically, the 1cc syringe of juvederm in LA costs anywhere from $400 to $650, depending on where you are located and who is doing the procedure. In some clinics, when you purchase more than one syringe, you get additional discounts. There is a new app that gives exact prices of juvederm for about 40 doctors in LA, called dermdash. I think Juvederm is a great filler but has to be done by a professional who knows what they are doing.
