I have low blood platelets in the lower 80s. Can I get a BBL
Answer: Can I get a BBL with low blood platelets in the 80s? A normal platelet count ranges from 150,000 to 350,000. If the number of platelets is too low, excessive bleeding can occur. Discuss your diet and vitamins with your PCP for guidance on how to raise the count and to determine the reason for it.

Answer: My recommendation Hello dear,I dont think its possible to get a surgery with that low blood platelets, it's insane! Dont put your life in danger. If you are considering a surgery, I recommend you to visit to get a clearance from your doctor prior to surgery. Only after a thorough examination you will get to know if you can have the surgery. Hope this helps and best of lucks. Dr. Luis Mejia.

Answer: BBL candidate Dear naynay46, Generally speaking, you should be healthy prior to surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Thrombocytopenia and elective surgery You need to talk to your primary care doctor about this. The first thing that needs to be done is to find out if this is idiopathic.I believe most plastic surgeons would be OK with a platelet count of 80,000.most likely you would form normal blood clots at that count as long as you’re not taking any type of blood thinner like aspirin or ibuprofen.it’s possible you may require medical clearance.some providers may want you to do a bleeding test.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
