I’m a 33 year old female and I have a lot of bags and wrinkles under my eyes. I can’t afford eye lid surgery so any other advice would be much appreciated
Answer: Dark Circles/Eye Bags/Wrinkles - Fillers (Belotero, Juvederm Volbella); Lasers (Fraxel/CO2); Renuvion; Microneedling/PRP; Peels At home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (MTS roller with anteage MD ampules) should be started now. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat will such as lower eyelid blepharoplasty with or without fat pad repositioning will be the best long term. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles without surgery. Non invasive less downtime options such as fillers (Belotero, Juvederm Volbella), lasers (Moxi/Halo/Fraxel/CO2), Renuvion (J-Plasma), microneedling/PRP, stem cells and microneedling RF like Fractora PiXel8 or Morpheus can all help give some improvement. Accutite can often be used or stronger lasers like erbium or co2 spot treatment can tighten the skin and give very quick improvement in wrinkles and texture. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat might be the best solution long-term. I suggest you get a formal consultation to see what is best for you and your goals. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Need to refresh the eyes: Know your treatment options Hello, and thank you for providing photos along with your question. Based on these images, you do appear to have hollowing under the eyes. While an assessment of your skin is necessary to determine the best procedure or combination of procedures, there are several ways to rejuvenate the eye area. One option is a dermal filler treatment. By injecting small amounts of filler into the tear trough, the skin will become plump and supple, lifting the skin and smoothing out the visible groove in the skin. Laser and energy-based treatments, including RF microneedling (Profound RF) that stimulate collagen production can also refresh the skin around the eyes. Facial fat transfer is another option to restore volume under your eyes. The best way to determine the appropriate treatment is to schedule an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon. Your surgeon can do a proper evaluation, determine your eligibility for any procedure, and ensure the best possible outcome.

Answer: Considering options From your photo it appears you would benefit from filler combined with another treatment to address the crepey/loose skin. One option is Morpheus8. This non surgical treatment is safe for the undereye area and can improve skin tone and texture. See an expert injector near you to learn more.

Answer: Under eyes Hello Bright159220! Dermal fillers in the tear trough would benefit your under eye concern. I also suggest adding PRP with the under eye filler to achieve a greater result. I highly recommend contacting an experienced injector in your area for a full consultation. Have a wonderful day!

Answer: Laser/energy based device There are two ways to help with lower eyelid skin. If there is significant amount of excess skin, then surgery can be done to remove the redundant skin. However, if it's the wrinkles (quality of the skin rather than quantity), then using some sort of laser/energy based device can help "iron" out the wrinkles. Based on your photo, it appears that you may be smiling or squinting your eyes, and I can not accurately assess if you have excess skin. When we smile/squint, we contract the muscle around around our eyes and cause wrinkles to form. This is called dynamic wrinkles. We unfortunately can never fully get rid of dynamic wrinkles, unless we completely paralyze the muscles around the eyes (which we would not want to do). I would definitely recommend going to an eyelid specialist or cosmetic dermatologist to further determine if you are a good candidate for laser/energy based device. Hope this helps!
